In an effort to preserve and enhance the District’s infrastructure while ensuring the efficient use of funds, the Construction Management Department has developed systematic evaluation of all potential projects that have a relatively minor scope of work that may or may not need support of DSA oversight. Capital improvement projects include a short-range plan to identify a schedule that is used in the budget preparation process. Typically, CIP projects are funded through various sources such as developer fees, community facility districts, local bond measures and/or grants.
