NAMM Foundation Best Communities for Music Education designation
Now in its 21st year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation, from The NAMM Foundation, awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students.
California Pivotal Practice Program
A program recognizing some of California's districts and public schools. Districts and schools that are selected have demonstrated innovation and exceptional work when California required schools to offer distance learning.
Great Kindness Challenge Founding District
Carlsbad Unified is proud to be a Founding District. Kindness Certified School Districts use The Great Kindness Challenge as a free tool to create a culture of kindness. They demonstrate a commitment to fostering positive, caring and respectful school environments where all students thrive.
California Gold Ribbon Schools Program
A program that honors some of California's outstanding public schools. Schools that are selected demonstrate exemplary achievements in implementing state standards in priority areas.
National Blue Ribbon Schools
A federal No Child Left Behind program that celebrates many of America's most successful schools. Its goal is to promote and support the improvement of education in America.
California Distinguished Schools Program
Honors some of California's most exemplary and inspiring public schools. Schools selected for the Distinguished School Award demonstrate significant gains in narrowing the achievement gap.
The California Exemplary Program
Recognizes elementary and secondary schools in alternate years. Schools applying for a California Exemplary Program Award must meet the eligibility criteria to be a California Distinguished School (DS) to be recognized for a California Exemplary Program Award.
California Teachers of the Year
Recognizes exemplary teachers who best represent all of California's teachers and symbolize the profession's contributions to quality education.
