What to Expect

College & Career Night is designed to help students and families explore a wide range of post-secondary options. While the information is especially helpful for 10th–11th grade students, all CUSD high school students and families are welcome to attend.

The event will include a college and career fair featuring a variety of institutions and organizations and post-secondary planning information sessions, including dedicated sessions for students receiving special education services.

As part of this event, a post-secondary transition resource fair for families and students in a specialized program will also be available. Whether a student is working towards a certificate of completion, on an alternative pathway to their diploma, or on a traditional route to graduation, this section will feature transition information from which ALL students may benefit. Resources include information on adult support, employment, and educational options available to students.

Vendors present at this year's fair include the San Diego Regional Center, California Department of Rehabilitation, inclusive post-secondary education options, tailored day services, social recreation and so much more! These resources are designed to support all students as they plan for life after high school.
